Nephrology Appointment

We went to Layne's nephrology appointment yesterday and everything seems to be going well in that area! He doesn't have to go back until November!

Layne's Diagnosis'

Cerebral Palsy

PVL-Periventricular Leukomalacia-Damage and softening of the white matter of the Brain.

Hypotonia-Low or weak muscle tone.

FTT-Failure to thrive-means that Layne cannot eat enough on his own to grow and thrive.

Infantile Spasms-seizures, the most catastrophic kind.

CVI-Cortical Visual Impairment-Legally blind, Eyes function but the nerves from the eyes to the brain does not process information correctly.

Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome-Goes through periods of vomiting that often last weeks followed by weeks of no vomiting.

Vitamin D deficiency
