Layne went to the Opthamologist on Monday. We didn't get much news other than what we already know..that Layne has CVI and his brain cannot process what he sees. He said we can hope that it will get better with age. He also said that glasses would never be an option...bummer:( But we hope and pray that it will get better as he gets older because that is very possible:)

I'm sorry that you didn't get the news that you wanted, but hold onto the hope that it will get better. We have all seen the miracles that take place in our children's lives when we have more faith and hope than the Dr.'s give us. Keep me posted !!!!
Braden's PVL is classified as extensive according to his paperwork from the NICU. He has an MRI again on the 7th. His muscle tone is really good. He seems very strong with the exception of not turning his head to the left while on the floor or in his Bumbo. He definitely is having issues with delay. I guess we will see when he starts physical therapy if he is having real issues.
Sorry Layne's eye exam wasn't the best news. At least there is a good chance he can get better. That's always a good thing to have on your side.
