Glasses, School, and Horseback Riding

I'm behind on posts! Layne started school the day after his 3rd birthday. I figured he would hate it and scream the entire time! He only goes for an hour right now and he is doing really well! He cries when we drop him off but they play with him and get him happy again!!!

A couple of weeks ago Layne got glasses! Turns out he is a little far-sighted in addition to the visual impairment. So they said we could try out glasses and see if it helped. They do seem to be helping a little bit!!

Last Wednesday Layne started riding horses as therapy! He seemed to like it! His aunt Bonny rode with him, so that made it better!!! We will go every Wednesday if we can!!

School already? Doesn't the time just fly by? My little one is starting next week. Love the pics. He looks great on that horse!

Hi! I found your blog by googling "special tomato chair", but I am so thankful because I have a 3 year old son with severe CP, born 8/20/07, so we have sooooo much in common and could probably talk for hours. Our website for my son, Bennett, is: http://www.totsites.com/tot/bennettmitchell and our email is speckhome@gmail.com. You are a true inspiration~ and Layne is PRECIOUS!
